Raleigh Elder Law Attorney

When someone is unable to manage his or her personal or financial affairs due to age or infirmity, our courts allow you to request that a guardian or guardians be appointed to assist that person. The inability to handle one's affairs can be brought on by numerous reasons, but most often guardianships are necessary due to mental or physical disability or due to someone being a minor child.

At Boxley, Bolton, Garber & Haywood, L.L.P., we are able to assist you with all aspects of guardianships; whether that be:

1. Establishing a guardianship for a loved one or friend,

2. Managing a guardianship previously established,

3. Filing the appropriate guardianship forms with the court, and

4. Defending oneself against the establishment of a guardianship.
